The green and red Compton wallpaper design is by William Morris. William Morris designed wallpaper and textiles in the 1800s; this is one of his decorative floral designs that he produced in 1887. He was an English decorative designer, perhaps the most noteable wallpaper designers of his time, a member of the pre-raphaelite designers. I was extremely happy to find a tree ornament for my Occupational Therapist daughter. (I bought one a few years ago for my Paramedic son) & prior to seeing this I was trying to work out how I could create something similar for her.
