Willamette Mission State Park, Oregon Postcard
Walking along a trail at the Willamette Mission State Park in Salem, Oregon. Within the park held the site of the Willamette Mission that was from 1834-1841 that served as a Methodist mission & boarding school for Native American youth by Rev. Jason Lee. Much more history continued on in this area & today it is a state park for everyone to enjoy. From this trail you can see the outline of what the mission & boarding school would have looked like with Mission Lake in front. Photo taken September 2016.
