Alice and the White Knight Jigsaw Puzzle
11” x 14” jigsaw puzzle with a vintage image of Alice and the White Knight. In Chapter Eight of “Through the Looking Glass”, the White Knight rescues Alice from the Red Knight and proceeds to escort her to the eighth square of the chess board. As they talk, he reveals that he is an inventor and proceeds to display some of his inventions, much to her amusement. These include a set of spiked anklets to protect his horse from sharks. I was a bit disappointed to find that for the price the puzzle was only a small 252 pieces ..... but ....... it is so intricate that if it was bigger I would be frazzled by now
bought as a special Christmas jigsaw for work colleagues to play with in our breaks - it is a great way to get the team to collaborate on something fun, and to start conversations between folk, and a great positive opportunity to provide compliments on the effort put in and progress being made
the puzzle itself is beautifully made - each piece feels lovely (not a cheap cardboard puzzle) and the shapes are all similar but different
Still a work in progress after a week - it's great!!!!
a truly lovely thing ... it will come out each year - both at work and at home. great image, and fantastic finish on the pieces
