Now that the herbivores were far too fast for the carnivores to catch any, they were slipping in to what can only be described as hard times with little possibility of things ever getting better for them again. After spending millions of years laughing at the carnivores eating trees, now they had to do the same. Now the carnivores were thinking that the herbivores were the ones laughing at them, and they felt humbled and desperate.
