One of my "art philosophies" is that ALL art should spark ones imagination. The inclusion of my narratives, from my own experiences, accompany each piece in the effort to "jump start" the eventual conception of the viewer. This commissioned piece carries with it, the beginning of yet another imaginative journey... With the sun at its noon-day peak, pilots of hot air balloons take advantage of the air currents - created by the culmination of natural events - The unseen air, flowing over the mountain peaks, the warmth of the noon day sun, the merging of two rivers. The combined elements offer our balloons a free ride, following the current of the river... The journey is now yours... Thank you, Ann....

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
