What is Disturbing CDC and WHO by RoseWrites T-Shirt

After reading Dr. Megha Sharma, a neonatal-perinatal medicine fellow at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, suggest people follow reliable social media channels like the CDC and WHO [about Zika], and be more sceptical of other kinds of videos [or websites] posted online, I had to set her straight. So, I designed a shirt with my own quote, similar to what Dr. Sharma said: "What was most disturbing to me was the websites or videos that are giving this misinformation are trying to take the focus completely away from the issue." Here's the problem Dr. Sharma et al: February 4th, 2016, Dr. Ayres wrote letters to alert the scientific community and the WHO "to assume that the main vector is Aedes aegypti in areas in which other mosquito species coexist is naive, and could be catastrophic ..." After 10 months (and over 1,500 mosquitoes analysed), her team found that nearly half were Aedes aegypti and most of the rest were Culex quinquefasciatus, a common mosquito. About 5 percent were other species. Only 2 percent were Aedes albopictus. Canadian medical entomologist, Dr. Fiona Hunter "has found signs that 11 out of 50 wild-caught Culex pipiens mosquitoes picked up the virus somewhere on their bodies. She has completely analysed one mosquito and reports that the virus was indeed in its saliva". March 2016, Dr. Hunter left the Summit on Controlling Aedes aegypti in Maceio, Brazil with this note to self: "no mosquito infection data to support ZIKV [Zika virus] transmission by Aedes aegypti in Brazil." But the CDC dismissed the Zika–Culex link entirely. Tom Skinner, a senior press officer at the CDC, responded in an email: "[There's] nothing to suggest Culex playing any role in transmission of Zika." In April, CDC whistleblower Dr. Lanciotti raised valid concerns about the Trioplex assay (which fails to detect 40 percent of Zika infections, including all four strains of dengue). But the CDC decided to punish and demote him (and for months the CDC continued to promote their flawed test over a reliable one - the Singleplex). Viral Zika RNA has been found in whole blood for 81 days. But Eurosurveillance stated in June 2016: "Zika virus could circulate in the blood of infected patients for up to 2 months."
