I ordered an XL in American Apparel for my daughter for Christmas. I did look at the size chart. This shirt is Medium at best. I got an exchange of the same print in Hanes XL and it is true to size. I gave it a three because the sizing was off. Zazzle was also quick with the exchange. I will show the difference in size in the pictures, the America Apparel shirt is on top. The orange ruler in the first picture shows a 4 inch difference. Printing was nice, no complaints.

Love this top certainly shows everyone I love my chihuahuas shirt is on the smaller side I am a plus size women so it was a snug fit. Printing was a good quality gets a bit stretched due to my sizing but not too bad that you wouldn’t wear it.
