John William Waterhouse Ophelia pillow. Oil painting on canvas from 1894. English artist John Waterhouse frequently drew on literary themes, and Shakespeare was one of his greatest sources of inspiration. Waterhouse dedicated multiple paintings to Hamlet’s doomed heroine Ophelia. This early painting features the girl wearing a light blue dress with gold embroidery and jewelled bracelets. Ophelia’s hair is auburn and adorned with dark red flowers. She sits at the edge of a pond full of water lilies with daisies in her lap. A great gift for fans of J.W. I absolutely love this product. I turned out even better than I expected too. I bought this for my mother for Mother's Day and she really loves it, she shows it too everyone she can and they all love it as well and want to know where I bought it from. The design turned out perfect, the printing of the words is fantastic they were so clear and easy to read, the color was also nicer than I thought it would be plus the images are so clear to see. I myself can't seem to keep looking at it, it's just gorgeous I love it, it couldn't have turned out any better
