    John William Waterhouse Ophelia magnet. Oil painting on canvas from 1894. English artist John Waterhouse frequently drew on literary themes, and Shakespeare was one of his greatest sources of inspiration. Waterhouse dedicated multiple paintings to Hamlet’s doomed heroine Ophelia. This early painting features the girl wearing a light blue dress with gold embroidery and jewelled bracelets. Ophelia’s hair is auburn and adorned with dark red flowers. She sits at the edge of a pond full of water lilies with daisies in her lap. A great gift for fans of J.W.     Was very happy with the magnet. Cropping was as expected, corners are rounded. Good material. Magnet sticks well to fridge, as expected. The quality of the printing was good. I have tried other companies in the past which turned out too pixilated, was happy with the quality. Only thing was that they printed a bit on the dark side. Colour not as bright as on my computer.
