Hylas and the Nymphs is one of the artist’s most famous paintings. The work features the protagonist Hylas wearing a blue robe with red sash as he bends down to take the hand of a nymph rising from a pond full of lily pads. Her sister nymphs surround her gazing lovingly up at the hero. A great gift for fans of J.W. Waterhouse, Greek Mythology, the Pre-Raphaelites, and English Romantic art.
