Waterhouse Beautiful Woman Without Mercy Poster
John William Waterhouse La belle dam sans mercie poster. Oil painting on canvas from 1893. Pre-Raphaelite painter John William Waterhouse regularly drew on literary themes, and The Beautiful Woman Without Mercy is inspired by an 1820 poem published by the English poet John Keats. A knight in shining armour gazes down into a beautiful woman’s eyes as she sits in a lush copse of trees. The girl wears a purple dress with white polka dots on the skirt and a pink heart on the sleeve. Her hair is dark blonde and she is surrounded by beautiful flowers and dark green grass. A great gift for fans of J.W. Waterhouse, the Pre-Raphaelites, Keats, and Romantic English painting.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
