Watercolor Red Blue painting Bouquet green stems Holiday Card

Nature and my garden provide fine inspiration for my painting. Here is a collection of flowers both from my garden and from the wild area that never quite made it into the vase. The sun was hot, the mosquitoes annoying, and the phone rang so I laid them down near the edge of the flower bed, took another look and headed back to the house. Life got in the way and I never returned to abandoned bouquet. I did not want to forget them so from my recollection of how they looked laying jumbled next to the roses I painting them.
