Water Vapour. Scaring the Ignorant since 1919 T-Shirt

I CRINGE every time I see a social medial post about jet contrails. Without fail, they bring out the local crazies. I am absolutely amazed by how many people think that they are actually CHEMTRAILS, and of course the government is somehow responsible. This misunderstanding of something that can be explained very easily with basic scientific facts would be laughable if it wasn't so terrifying- Do people really think "the man" is pumping chemicals into the sky? Contrails were first observed (or at least first RECORDED) during the flights of the pilot Zeno Diemer in 1919. It didn't take scientists long to figure out that they are made of water vapour. Somehow, in the 1990's, the tin hat wearing crowd decided that there was something more to them. Something nefarious... And, of course, the government was behind it. But what were they doing? Testing chemical weapons? Controlling the weather?? We can only speculate. Oh, and hold our breath. You know, just in case.
