Walter Crane was an English artist and book illustrator. He is considered to be the most influential, and among the most prolific, children’s book creator of his generation and one of the strongest contributors to the child's nursery motif that the genre of English children's illustrated literature would exhibit in its developmental stages in the latter 19th century.
This is one of Walter Crane's earliest designs for wallpaper. Flowers and animals were the most common decorative elements of The Arts and Crafts Movement.

Unfortunately I had to return the first batch of cards as the artwork was off the page with the swans losing the tops of their heads, but refunded without any problems and re-ordered using slightly smaller type-set. The card has been much admired. It was difficult to get the image to fit the card, but I think we have got it as good as it gets, there is still a bit of overlapping of the wings at the edges of the cards, but if you make it bigger the swans lose their heads (which happened in the first batch).

I have ordered multiple lots of these cards and found them to be exactly what I had in mind, the quality is great. They look professional and neat and tidy. The card is not too thick but strong enough for the purpose. And recyclable! Printing is clear and as I expected.
