The giant panda is one of the world's rarest mammals and can only be found high in the rainy mountains of China. The panda eats mostly bamboo shoots and leaves. A relative of the bear, there are only about 1,600 thought to be in the wild. Currently 300 pandas live in zoos and breeding centres around the world, mostly in China with the eventual long-term goal of removing them from the endangered species list. Our panda note cards and themed products salute this rare beauty. We have created a background pattern made directly from this photograph to frame the panda.
