In 2024, stand up against creeping and open authoritarianism and choose democracy by voting for Democrats up and down the ticket. In 2016 and 2020, too many lied to themselves that they were voting for change or populism, but they were really voting for strong-man authoritarianism and autocracy. In 2024, we have to correct our course because the GOP has been overcome by open bigotry, anti-democracy, and anti-people policy and actions. History tells us that candidates who present themselves as strongmen are really just weak authoritarian dictators, and given a little bit of power, they can't and won't stop gobbling up more. We have a choice in 2024, just as we did in 2020 and 2022. We can choose to continue to re-affirm and re-establish our small-d democratic principles and norms so that we can work together to make our country better, or we can endorse the authoritarian tyrannical tendencies of Trumpist bigotry, hate, narcissism, and self-dealing. Democracy is a process, and we have to support it in every election. Don't take this one off. Make the right choice. Vote Blue.
