Vintage Tractor Advertising Poster
This vintage print for the Moline Universal Tractor was created from an original ad seen in newspapers around 1919 for the Monroe Overland Company. It has been painstakingly brought back to its original glory and presented on poster paper. It is recommended that you upgrade to heavy duty matte if framing as a print. It measures 8" by 12" and can be enlarged to 24" by 36" and is standard size so you can frame yourself or add a standard or custom frame here. The print is fully readable (at larger size) by the observer and some of the text reads - Do Your Own Belt Work Including Threshing. With a Moline-Universal Tractor and a small threshing outfit you can be independent of your thresherman. You can thresh when and where you want to at less trouble and expense. Many Moline-Universal owners do their own threshing and then their neighbours.' This is a splendid and eco nomical plan try it and use the Moline-Universal. The Moline-Universal has plenty of power for this work. It is rated at 18 h. p. on the belt; but under official test at the National tractor Demonstration it developed 26.48 h. p. And at the Ohio State University, under the offcial test it developed 28.7 h. p. So you see that you get from 50 to 60 per cent re serve power when you buy a Moline-Universal The perfected overhead valve four cylin der engine of the Moline-Universal develops unusual power and is very economical in op eration. Variations in load do not affect the engine speed of the Moline-Universal in the slightest, due to an electrical governor that instantly regulates the throttle to compensate for the slightest change in pull. Electricity, the most sensitive, quickest acting force known to man, holds the engine of the Moline-Universal un der control, and makes it run steady under all conditions. The pulley on the Moline-Universal Trac tor is located directly in front of the engine, making it easy to line up to belt and change from one operation to another. A friction clutch pulley can be furnished. There are many other splendid features on the Moline Universal Tractor we would like to show you. This tractor print would make a great addition to any business that deals in tractors or farm equipment in general. It also goes well with any wall where a vintage or eclectic feel is wanted.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning! The print is precise, clear and of an excellent standard. It was cleverly packaged so there wasn’t a blemish or crease. Perfect!
