A vintage book illustration for "The Goblin Market" from "The Book of Fairy Poetry" depicts a lovely blonde young woman sitting on the ground in the middle of a group of birds and animals dressed in clothing. Each has fruits or vegetables they're eager to sell her at the market. The artist, Warwick Goble (1862-1943), was an English illustrator who was influenced by Japanese watercolor techniques. He is most famous for his children’s books and fairy book illustrations. Card is blank inside for your own message.
