Vintage - Terrier and Dachshund Dogs,

Vintage artwork by Carl Reichert depicts a white Terrier dog and a Dachshund sitting side by side on their haunches, their front legs in a begging position. Beside the Dachshund is a basket of pink flowers on the floor, some of which have been chewed up and scattered across the floor. They are begging for forgiveness. The Austrian artist, Carl Reichert (1836-1918) was the son of Austrian portrait and animal painter, Heinrich Reichert. Carl, born in Vienna, followed in his father’s footsteps as a painter of animals and town scenes, but he was most famous for his paintings of animals, especially dogs and cats. This card is blank inside for your own message.
