Vintage - Stylish Flower Fairy,

A vintage children's book illustration by Florence Mary Anderson features a very stylist flower fairy striking a pose in the red flowers and green leaves that make up her hat and gown. She holds a walking stick out at an angle in front of her as she poses. One childlike fairy flies overhead, one crawls up to her on the ground, and another female fairy flits by as all three gaze at her in awe. The English artist, Florence Mary Anderson (1874-1930) also illustrated under her maiden name Molly MacArthur or Florence Mary MacArthur. She was a book illustrator, wood engraver and children’s author. Her work was influenced by the British School of Fairy Art. This card is blank inside for your own message.
