A vintage children's book illustration by Honour C. Appleton depicts children in a neighbourhood engaging in a snowball fight. Two little children take cover near a fence while one makes a pile of snowballs to hurl across the street at the other kids. Honour C. Appleton (1879-1951) was an English illustrator and artist who illustrated over 150 books in her career, beginning with children’s books and moving to literary classics. This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
