Vintage Sailor Cat Poster Print
This gorgeous vintage cat poster features a beautiful brown tabby cat dressed in a sailor's outfit. Based on a vintage British postcard dating from the early 1900's, our nautical cat is dressed in a cute pale blue and navy sailor's uniform trimmed with white, and topped with a traditional boating hat with a navy blue ribbon. He has an anchor emblem and a royal crest on his shirt uniform. The background on the illustration is of soft green English fields against a beautiful blue sky touched with soft white clouds. You can add a colour background and border to our nautical vintage poster by shrinking the image. You can customise the print still further by adding your own text. The poster would make the perfect gift for lovers of vintage cat art, anyone who loves cats, and people who live by and love the sea - and felines, of course!

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
