This is a vintage illustration by Johnny Gruelle for the story, "Rapunzel" from the children's storybook, "Grimm's Fairy Tales" (1914). Johnny Gruelle is also known as the creator of the Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy dolls, creating Raggedy Ann for his young daughter and patenting the doll in 1915. This card is blank inside for your handwritten message.
