Vintage - Puppies Meet Baby,

Vintage artwork by Adolf Eberle features a rural scene in a barn where a mother sits in a chair with her baby on her lap introducing the baby to a litter of puppies. One puppy is in the mum's lap along with the baby. Two older children are nearby, and the mother dog stands quietly and patiently watching as her puppies interact with their human family. Two horses in the barn are also watching. The German artist, Adolf Eberle (1843-1914) was born in Munich. His father, Robert Eberle, was also a painter. Adolf’s most common and favourite subjects were family life scenes, including huntsmen and farmers, from Bavarian and Tyrolean peasant life. Many of these scenes also included pet animals. This card is blank inside for your own message.
