Vintage illustration marine life animals featuring puffins and other aquatic birds nesting on a cliff by the ocean. One bird has a conical shaped egg which are less likely to roll off, tending instead to roll around in a tight circle; this trait is likely to have arisen due to evolution via natural selection. Illustrated by prolific American ornithologist and illustrator Louis Agassiz Fuertes. From "Birds of New York, N.Y. This was exactly what was wanted for my piano crazy grandson! He is self taught & is now having lessons by a top teacher and has been asked to play at various venues in the US!
