This gorgeous vintage digital print entitled, 'Good Cause for Reflection' was painted by Harry Morse Meyers for the September 11th issue of Puck Magazine in 1915. The inset highlights this piece's lovely detail. "Puck" was America's first successful humour magazine of colourful cartoons, caricatures and political satire of the issues of the day. It was published from 1871 until 1918. Harry Morse Meyers (1886 - 1961) was an American artist and illustrator. This wonderful impressionist completed around 2,000 pieces in his lifetime. Considered in America as one of the premier artists in his style, reminiscent of Renoir, his best-loved works feature dark-eyed girls, as seen here in detail.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
