Vintage print boys Daughaday Model printing press
This is a reproduction of a photograph taken in the 1920's. It shows a group of boys using a Model printing press. The Model Press is a hand letterpress. It was originally patented by William Clark and Joshua Daughaday in the USA in 1874. The bellows seen under the table was used for cleaning the dust out of type cases. A nice reproduction to give to a printing enthusiast or hang on your print shop wall. See also matching greeting card. Click the Customise it! choose the size poster you want. Our posters and photographs have been digitally repaired if badly torn or severally marked, but aging, smudges, wrinkles and normal wear have been left as in the original image.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
