Vintage illustration pirate image featuring a portrait of Captain Keitt by Howard Pyle. A fantasy fairy tale story book design originally published in Harper’s Monthly, 1907. Captain Keitt is a buccaneer standing proud on the bow of his ship in stormy seas. The deck of his boat has an ornate decorative rail and a lantern to show the way at night. They were in a battle and the enemy pirate ship is billowing smoke and sinking deep into the sea trying to survive the ocean's waves in the distance.

I'm not sure how much moisture these will soak up, haven't had a chance to try them out, but they look good and I like the cork backing. The printing is fine ~ and really looks cool with an artisan's hand made "Hurricane Martini" glass sitting on top of my painting (on the coaster) in my studio.
