This hilarious card shows the tables turned on the men in the battle of the sexes with a vintage photograph of a tough looking woman wearing manly knickerbocker trousers and smoking a cigarette as the poor downtrodden male of the species gets stuck into the laundry. The photograph was produced by Underwood & Underwood of New York round about the time when the rights of women was a hot topic. The card would be perfect for anyone who likes all things vintage and quirky images. The original image is courtesy of The Library of Congress Prints & Photographs Division.
