Buffalo Chase, Mouth of the Yellowstone (1832/1833) by George Catlin is a vintage American West fine art landscape painting. Native American Sioux Indian hunters on a hunt. The men are riding wild horses hunting buffaloes on the rolling green hills of the frontier. About the artist: George Catlin (1796-1872) was an American painter, author and traveller who specialised in portraits of Native American Indians in the Old Wild West.
