Vintage National Flags Chart - created 1863
Johnson's new chart of national emblems. Etching and engraving on paper ; Created 1863, published 1865 Johnson, A. J. (Alvin Jewett), 1827-1884, publisher "Print showing the flags of various countries, those flown by ships, and the "Signals for Pilots." In the top left corner is the "United States" 37-star flag, in the top right corner is the "Royal Standard of the United Kingdom Great Britain & Ireland"; in the bottom left corner is the "Russian Standard" and in the bottom right corner is the "French Standard." The flags on this sheet differ slightly from those on another sheet numbered 4 [top left] and 5 [top right]."

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
