Vintage Mewsical Alley Cat Choir Poster
This fun poster for cat lovers and cat owners features a colored drawing of three mewsical singing alley cats, based on one particular tom cat who first appeared back in 1918 when he graced the sheet music cover for the musical ‘Me-ow One Step’ published by Sam Fox Pub. Co. of Cleveland, Ohio. The happy ragtime song was written for the piano and has just one word in the lyrics, namely ‘meow!’ The music was written by Mel Kaufman and the words by Harry Kerr. Each cat is painted a different color, green, orange and brown. The poster would be a fun gift for musical cat lovers and fans of vintage cat art.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
