A vintage illustration by Frances Brundage of a little girl dressed warmly in a fur-trimmed cloak or coat along with a hat. The artist, Frances Brundage (1854-1937) was born in Newark, NJ and was best known for illustrations of beautiful, adorable children on postcards, calendars, and holiday cards, particularly Valentines. She later lived and worked in Washington, D.C., Massachusetts and New York. She was ahead of her time in that her diverse artwork also included Native American, African American, Dutch and Irish children. A prolific artist, she also illustrated novels and literary collections. This card is blank inside for your own message
