Vintage Japanese Oni Key Ring
This cool keychain features a closeup of the severed head of the oni king Shutendōji of Oeyama, from an 1858 Japanese woodblock print by master Utagawa Yoshitsuya. Oni are a type of yokai monster in Japanese mythology, similar to ogres. Shutendōji was the leader of the oni in his time, and is known as one of the three great evil yokai of Japan. He was eventually killed by the samurai Minamoto no Yorimitsu.
