About Botanist Ernst Heinrich Philipp August Haeckel (February 16, 1834 – August 9, 1919)

He named biological terms including ecology, phylum, phylogeny, and stem cell. He created over 100 detailed botanical and biological illustrations in his Kunstformen der Natur.
