Vintage - Fairy, Snail and Rose,

Vintage illustration by Amelia Jane Murray (aka Lady Oswald), (1800-1896) who was born and raised on the island of Port-e-Chee (meaning fairy music) on the Isle of Mann. She grew up hearing tales about fairies and specialised in painting them. In this image, a fairy holding a leaf above her head sits on the back of a snail that's perched in the middle of a pink rose in full bloom. The card is blank inside for your handwritten message.
