A vintage illustration depicting a garden at night filled with fairies and animals. One fairy stands on a toadstool as his stage and plays a trumpet-shaped flower. He's apparently a very bad musician, as everyone else has shocked looks on their faces. One rabbit runs in fear, and another fairy plugs her ears with her fingers. The English artist, Florence Mary Anderson (1874-1930) also illustrated under her maiden name Molly MacArthur or Florence Mary MacArthur. She was a book illustrator, wood engraver and children’s author. Her work was influenced by the British School of Fairy Art.
