Vintage - Dogs in Clown Suits,

A vintage illustration of four dogs dressed as clowns with ruffled neck collars on all, and three of them wearing clown shirts. In faded typeface under the dogs, there is the name "Castell Brothers London" and "Printed in Germany." Castell Brothers was founded in 1878 in London and was also commonly known as Pepys. The company began by selling stationary items and holiday greeting cards which they called "Pepys Parchment." In 1936, after seeing the move "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" they created a board game based on the story and sold it under the name Pepys. Following that, their main business was creating board and card games. The company was sold to Gibson in 1983. This card is blank inside for your own message.
