This gorgeous gift mug for lovers of vintage art features an advertisement for the Arm & Hammer Brand Soda. Produced in 1900 by Church & Co of New York the ad shows an illustration of a brightly dressed carnival clown proudly presenting the soda brand in the form of a hoop with coloured streamers and a girl acrobat on a beautiful chestnut horse. It looks as it the acrobat is about to jump through the hoop! Why can't they make beautiful advertisements like these nowadays? Our beautiful vintage mug would be the perfect gift for lovers of bright colours and fans of vintage advertising posters. The quality of these larger mugs is very good. I have been putting mine through the dishwasher all the time and it shows no signs of fading or dulling. Ergonomically these are lovely to hold and have fast become my favourite mug for a big cup of tea or coffee. Totally recommend getting the tea infuser with the mug especially if you like using loose leaf tea, which always tastes better from my experience and is better for the environment. Printing was good, bright and most importantly accurately matches the colouring shown on the website.
