Vintage Boston City Seal Large Clock

Stylish wall clock features the vintage seal for the city of Boston MA in white on dark blue background. It became the official seal in 1914 and is a circular image that features: a view of the City of Boston, the motto, “SICUT PATRIBUS, SIT DEUS NOBIS” (which means, “God be with us as he was with our fathers”), and the inscription, “BOSTONIA CONDITA AD. 1630 CIVITATIS REGIMINE DONATA AD. 1822.”

I bought this clock as a gift for my husband for our 50th wedding anniversary. The first one went missing in transit so Zazzle ordered a replacement which arrived quickly. It's a lovely clock and I'm sure will look beautiful on the wall when we eventually hang it on ANZAC Day. The printing is lovely.
