Vintage Blue Crab On A Cream Background Cushion

This design features a digitally remastered and enhanced version of a Blue Crab (Lupa decanta). The blue crab represents sea life on the Atlantic Coast. Blue crabs are a culinary treat enjoyed by many. James Ellsworth De Kay originally illustrated the vintage hand-drawn blue crab in the Zoology of New York (1842-1844). This version of the blue crab has had the text removed, including the plate number (3). Also, various crab elements have been digitally restored, modified, and enhanced. A cream-coloured background replaced the original fox-stained one surrounding the crab. Marine life is ideal for home and business decor. Framed marine life illustrations make great conservation pieces. Ocean and marine life printed on other products in our store make excellent additions to the decor in living areas, bedroom areas, and bathrooms.
