Vintage - Baby in Cradle with Fairies,

This is a vintage book illustration for a poem called "Milton's Son" which is included in "The Book of Fairy Poetry." It depicts a baby sweetly sleeping in his cradle while surrounded and protected by beautiful fairies with butterfly wings. The artist, Warwick Goble (1862-1943), was an English illustrator who was influenced by Japanese watercolor techniques. He is most famous for his children’s books and fairy book illustrations. Card is blank inside for your own message.
