Vintage Automotive Poster Original REO Speed Wagon
This is a reprint from a 1925 magazine I turned into this great poster.
This is the "original REO Speed Wagon" and in fact is how the band got their name (from a later model however).
Quoted form Wikipedia:
"The members returned to school in the fall of 1967, and had their first rehearsal before classes even started.
They named the band REO Speedwagon, from the REO Speed Wagon, a flatbed truck Doughty had studied in transportation history, and the initials are those of its founder Ransom E. Olds.
This poster is sized best for a 24" x 36" poster fitting a standard frame of same size.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
