A beautiful vintage poster print featuring the work of famous Art Nouveau painter Alphonse Mucha that's perfect for fans of the classic Art Nouveau style. Created around 1897 the painting features a beautiful young woman with long flowing golden blonde auburn hair wearing a totally impractical but very romantic gown with lots of frills and ribbons draped over the wheel of a classic bike advertising the Cycles Perfecta bicycle company. The poster would be a lovely new home present for a student daughter moving into her first apartment, and be a great gift for women cyclists and cycling fans of any gender who love great art. The background is a soft cream but you can change this to whatever colour you fancy.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs.
it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!

Absolutely superb Art Deco poster. The colours are vibrant, sympathetic to the era and perfect for use. I framed it and hung above the entrance to my Art Deco inspired lounge room. Stunning!
