Vintage Art Nouveau Holland Travel Tourism Poster

This is a digitally enhanced print of an antique 1901 tourism travel poster for the Hollandsche IJzeren Spoorweg-Maatschappij (HSM), which called itself Chemin de fer Hollandais in French, by Henri Grey. Surrounded by curls in Art Nouveau style, the HSM poster shows all kinds of Excursions in Hollande such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, The Hague, Marken, Hoorn and Alkmaar. Scheveningen's first pier, which opened in 1901, is also depicted, as is the Kurhaus. There are also two women in traditional costume smelling a red tulip.

I hung this in the stairwell of our house, near some other Renoir pictures. My daughter says it looks like she is looking at her when she walks up the stairs. it's called "The Excursionist", she is holding a walking stick. Renoir was an impressionist, I don't think this is an actual person. The finished framed picture arrived and looks better than the online pic - Beautiful!
