Vintage artwork by Henry Holiday titled, "Dante Meets Beatrice at Ponte Santa Trinita." (Beatrice is in the cream-coloured gown.) This work was inspired by a Mediaeval text about courtly love written by Dante Alighieri in 1295 in Italy. The book is called "La Vita Nuova" (The New Life). My grandson liked the card. Your cards are always great quality. I enjoyed being able to use a photo of him in the card, as these cards are keepsakes. The only disappointment was that I couldn’t get a gamer themed card. He is a very passionate gamer.
