The Buffalo Hunt (1860) by Karl Wimar is a vintage American West fine art painting. Native American Indian hunters riding horses and hunting buffaloes on the prairies of the desert southwest. About the artist: Karl Ferdinand Wimar (aka Charles or Carl) (1828-1862) was a German-American painter who concentrated on Native Americans in the old Wild West and herds of buffalo.
