The sleeve is thick and sturdy. Interior is soft. The outside is a bit more textured than I thought it would be. The front is as perfect as can be on a slightly textured fabric. The map was a tad pale making the lines a little pinker than the image.

This sleeve not only fits the iPad Air but also my Samsung S2, even with my protective cover attached. The inside lining is very soft and the outside looks very durable to resist tears.
