Vintage Abbott Fuller Graves Peonies Throw Pillow - Beautiful throw pillow inspired by 'Peonies’, a painting created by the American painter Abbott Fuller Graves (1859-1936). Born in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Abbott Fuller Graves was a painter and illustrator who specialised in floral still life and decorative open air garden paintings. In 1884 Graves went to Europe to refine his skills as a flower painter, training in France as well as Italy. His use of thick brushstrokes, bright colours, and natural light reveals the influence of European impressionism
