Vintage - A Victorian Picnic,

Vintage artwork by William Kay Blacklock is titled simply "The Picnic" and features a group of young women friends in the Victorian era who are enjoying a beautiful day in the park. Some are sitting on a picnic blanket, others have brought chairs which they've set around the blanket. A few are doing needlework, but all are chatting and enjoying their friendships. The British artist, William Kay Blacklock (1872-1924) worked mainly in watercolors and oils. His wife and daughter were frequent models of his for his paintings. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and also at the Royal Institute of Oil Painters. This card is blank inside for your own message.
